Alpha Group

The 10th Crown Alpha Course will start on Monday 21st September at 7 p.m. in the Crown Church lower hall. This is a ten week course for anyone wanting to have informal discussion on topics like "Who is Jesus?""Why did Jesus die?"" Does God heal today?"  “How can I be filled with the Spirit?"other topics for those wanting to know more about the real meaning of life.

The course always starts with a meal, then we watch a DVD on one of the topics and then we slot into groups to discuss it, and any other topic which is brought up. There is no pressure on anyone to talk and the groups blend into friendships which lastafter the course finishes. The evening finishes at 9.45 p.m. and the course ends in December. There is an after-Alpha group for anyone who wishes to continue, starting in.There is no cost for this course but donations to the meal will be gratefully received. The first evening will be very  informal and anyone who can bring a friend who is not a Church-goer will be so welcome. Any enquiries about the course can be made to me and invitations can be obtained at all doors of the Church.
