Friendship Club

The Friendship Club meets in the Church Lounge fortnightly on a Friday from 2 – 4 pm, September through to April. This Club is aimed at the 50+ age group both male and female and anyone (including people from other churches) is welcome. There is usually a speaker followed by afternoon tea and a time for fellowship together. Transport to and from the Club can be arranged.

From the September newsletter

The Friendship Club resumes for the new season on Friday 17 September at 2.00pm in the church lounge. The first meeting will be a PowerPoint presentation and talk on their recent visit to Malawi by Reay and Chrisanne. A varied but interesting programme has been prepared for the coming year finishing with a lunch on 15 April 2011. Dates and speakers will be intimated each week in the church order of service. The club is aimed at the 50+ age group. It is now ten years since Rita started the club and membership has increased steadily during this time. We usually have a speaker followed by a time of fellowship when afternoon tea is served.
