Crown Youth Music

The Band achieved great things finishing the last session with a cover version of a song done by Delirious! We hope to contribute to worship again this year, and have fun learning music, and we are looking for new members.

We meet every Sunday evening in the Church, the new members would come from 5.45 to 7.00 pm and current members from 6.30 to 7.30 pm. We will start up again on Sunday Sept 6th.

Anyone going into S1 or who has achieved Grade III standard in an instrument who would like to be part of the Band is asked to contact me; we are also happy to welcome any youngster(s) who want to sing. It would be great to have some regular singers as part of the band.

From the March Newsletter

Our current band is now the “Senior” Band, well able to support morning worship as they so admirably demonstrated on Sunday 14th Feb. As most of the band members will be leaving to go to university in the autumn, we now have “Junior” Band coming on, learning the songs and starting to contribute to Cafè Church, as the Senior Band did when they first started.
Any youngster in P7 or above who plays a musical instrument or who is happy to sing in a small group is welcome.
