Harvest Sunday, 5th October
Next Sunday, October 5th, we will celebrate Harvest Sunday at both 9:30am and 11am, and during the 11am service we will also include our annual dedication service for the Guild. The are wonderful opportunities to give thanks to God for his abundant gifts to us, both in the food that harvest provides for us and in the talented, generous and hardworking people that God has given to Crown Church.
Harvest gifts will once again be given to the Food Bank. Blythswood have given us a small list of items which they would be grateful if Crown Church could supply:
Tins of corned beef Jars of pasta sauce Long life juice/diluting
Small jars of coffee Tins of potatoes Tins of tomatoes
Toothpaste/deodorant
A credit card sized reminder of what’s on the list will be given out on Sunday to help you remember when you are shopping. Please be generous. Blythswood is increasingly stretched to provide food parcels and rely heavily on churches’ offerings at Harvest.
