Our building is a busy place! As well as all that we run for the church and community, we also host and partner with other organisations too. Here's a list of a few of the groups which meet in our Church Halls throughout the week.
Young Crown is a charity run out of Crown Church for the benefit of children, families, schools and the community. To find out more about the project and all of the activities associated, please visit the Young Crown website. Young Crown runs some of the outreach groups on this page including:

Brownies and Guides
Brownies are for girls age 7 to 10 years. Meetings are full of challenges, games and activities, usually ones that the Brownies have suggested themselves. Brownies have the opportunity to go on holiday and camping and special days out.
Guides are for girls aged 10 – 14 years. Being a Guide is all about learning new skills, making your own decisions and having fun. Guiding provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures. And it’s up to each Guide to work out which opportunities are relevant for her, whether it’s improving her football skills, party planning or learning about independent living. Guides have the opportunity to go camping and on holiday together.
Crown Corner Club
Crown Corner Club began operating in October 2001 to provide out of school care for 40 children of the local community and to assist working parents with child-care. The club also provides holiday child-care. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure and stimulating child friendly environment for primary school age children, that allows them to express themselves in all areas of play by giving them opportunities in social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional play, a facility where they can relax and feel comfortable. We are always open to new suggestions and ideas from the children and parents on ways to improve and enhance the day to day running of the club.
Our staff have several years' experience of working with children of various ages, and have relevant child-care qualifications. All staff have First Aid certificates in Child Care and have undertaken Child Protection training.
The club hours in term-time are 3.00pm to 5.45pm.
Holiday hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm full day & 8.30 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5.30 pm half day.
Charges are currently £9.00 per daily session and an annual registration fee of £10. Holiday fees are £20 per day.
There is a very wide range of activities on offer at the club for every age range and the club also organises various people with different interests to visit the club. During holiday club various fun outings are organised.
