Care for the Planet 

The church has recently decided to form a new team called “Care for the Planet” specifically to look at and address ecological issues. It reflects one of the 5 marks of mission which is :

“To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth”.

We hope that those who have an interest in ecological issues will want to become part of this team and membership is open to everyone in the church. The team, at the
moment is being headed up by Eileen Ardern so if you have an interest in joining, please speak to Eileen or contact her using her email address which is: eileenardern@hotmail.com  We hope to provide an “eco tip” in the Friday email going forward. Here is number 1:

“If you are in your car and stationary for any reason, switch the engine off!”
